Gemma Hooley currently lives and works in Washington DC. In her public radio
career, she has worked in production, editing, training, marketing and
station relations. Her work has aired on NPR, Soundprint, and local public
radio programs across the United States, as well as on international networks in Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and the Netherlands. Her work has been recognized with several national awards.
Before moving to the United States, Gemma worked as a cultural affairs
specialist for the United States Consulate in her hometown of Cape Town, South Africa.
